Sustainable Urban Neighbourhood is the title of a new book by David Rudlin and Nicholas Falk published by the Architectural Press.It updates the 1999 edition Building the 21st Century Home that has come to be seen as an important text in the rediscovery of urbanism in the UK. The original edition was largely based on experience in Hulme Manchester and the new book widens this to review the history of the last ten years drawing on URBED'S experience working on mixed use masterplans. The 318 page highly illustrated book is available for £29.99 from Elsevier.
